PT. Equityworld Futures (EWF) Semarang held a series of spiritual activities in order to welcome the 1445 Hijri New Year by carrying out Khataman Al-Quran in 7 different places. Al-Quran Khataman activities were held at Demak Central Java Mosque, Kotagede, Imogiri, Astana Mangadeg, Riyadh Solo Mosque, Astana Girilayu, and Kajoran Klaten Mosque on 1 Muharram 1445 H or 19 July 2023.

This initiative is an implementation of a recommendation from Habib Ja'far Bin Muhammad Bin Hamid Al-kaff, a company professor, who requires completing this Al-Quran as a prayer for both parents, ancestors, family, and all the mandates given, as well as for all people. Prophet Muhammad SAW, the Indonesian state and its contents, its people, homeland, leaders, scholars, heroes, religious leaders, saints of Allah, and their entire families.

This activity also includes reading prayers and salawat as a form of respect and love for the Prophet Muhammad SAW. All participants were also given the opportunity to pray together and remember the services of the scholars who have played an important role in the development of religion and society. In addition to events at these 7 locations, Equityworld Futures Semarang also organizes in-office recitations for Muslims and "Bible Reflections" for Christian employees.

Participation in Khataman Al-Quran involved PT. Equityworld Futures Semarang, business partners, and the general public as an expression of gratitude to Allah SWT and also as a form of corporate social responsibility to the community in preserving the nation's culture and history.

The city of Solo has an identity as a City of Culture with two palaces inherited from the Islamic Mataram Kingdom, namely the Surakarta Kasunanan Palace and the Mangkunegaran Palace. In this Al-Quran Khataman activity, PT Equityworld Futures Semarang visited the Astana Mengadeg Cemetery, Astana Girilayu, and the Riyadh Mosque.

Astana Mengadeg is the tomb of the first Mangkunegaran King, namely KGPAA Mangkunegoro I or known as Prince Sambernyawa, while Astana Girilayu is the tomb of the fourth Mangkunegaran King, namely KGPAA Mangkunegoro IV whose real name is RM Sudiro.

The Riyadh Mosque stands in the Surakarta Kasunanan Palace complex and is a waqf land from the palace during the reign of King Pakubuwono X. At the Riyadh Solo Mosque there are also the tombs of Habib Alwi bin Ali Al Habsy and Habib Muhammad Anis Bin Alwi Bin Ali Al Habsy.

With the theme "Together with PT Equityworld Futures Semarang We Build the Soul of the Nation," it is hoped that this spiritual activity will be able to encourage all members of the company in the struggle to achieve goodness by prioritizing the values of spiritualism, professionalism and nationalism.
